BUTTON WINDOW :

There's a window full of buttons to help jog your memory in case you forgot how dumb old fashioned calculators are to use. I really don't recommend using the button window. It's really dumb. It's there in case you need it so that you remember what a simple function is, but numbers and text are the intended method of value entry into Calc Thingy, through the normal window. You can virtually type using the obvious keyboard equivalents of the buttons in the button window, so that almost redeems the worth of this awful window.
I'm embarrased I even made that stupid button window. Please don't use it. Ever. Is that incentive not to use it? Try the typed syntax, it's pretty forgiving. It's in English. If you're French and you want to use my calculator in French, write it up yourself. I'll lend you the code, but it's not a trivial recompile. The entire calculator thinks in English. Anyway, the buttons are there ... because it's not really my job to tell you that you shouldn't use them, I should just let you go. There may be things missing though. Check the help Ops for a complete list of functions in this version. I figure that if you can't figure out where these things are on your keyboard, then you won't see the benefit of this app.
Speaking of stupid buttony windows that embarass me, I've now added an English
based powerbook buttons emulator, so if you are one of the other 18 people with
OS X running on your Powerbook and using QWERTY, you can now open up the PowerBook
Buttons window and type expressions in there to some limited degree
without switching your keyboard into the number lock mode. I think it's insane
myself, please don't use it.
